Ollie Reyhart
There are not many comedians who start their stand-up career in New York City and then bring it back to London, but Ollie Reyhart did exactly that. He cut his teeth on the notoriously unforgiving New York open mic circuit, gigging at venues including Greenwich Comedy Club, the Grizzly Pear, and Brooklyn Comedy Club before making the move back to his home city. That early training in rooms that give you no slack and offer no warmth unless you earn it shaped a style that is sharp, high-energy, and grounded in the kind of storytelling that gets to the point and makes it count.
Back in London, he has put in the work, over 300 gigs deep and still going. He reached the final of the Max Turner Prize 2023, the annual new act competition run by Comedy Virgins at the Cavendish Arms, and has beaten the Blackout at Up The Creek, one of the circuit's most unforgiving formats, where a live audience vote cuts you off after two minutes if you are not landing. He has built a reputation for high-energy sets that balance sharp wit with an observational edge that keeps things genuinely surprising.
His comedy sits at the crossroads of two cities and two comedic cultures. The directness of New York, the absurdism of London and the dark edge of someone who has stood in enough rooms on both sides of the Atlantic to know exactly how to hold one.
