Sukh Singh
In the vibrant comedy landscape of Alberta, Sukh Singh - also known as ThatBrownComic - stands out as a remarkable talent, captivating audiences from Lethbridge to Edmonton, and beyond to places like Saskatoon and Vancouver. A 2023 FunnyFest finalist and a strong contender in the Outdoor Festival's Battle of Comics, Sukh has graced the stages of renowned venues such as The Laugh Shop, The Comic Strip, and Yuk Yuks, making him a celebrated fixture in the Canadian comedy scene. Once entrenched in the 9-5 corporate world, Sukh has since swapped cubicles for comedy clubs, finding his true calling on stage where he hilariously dissects office life - much to the chagrin of his manager. Whether it's lighting up a bachelor's party, spreading joy at Christmas parties, raising funds through laughter, or adding a unique touch to wedding events, Sukh's performances are unforgettable experiences. Hailing from Calgary, this "next door brown comic" is anything but ordinary, proving that sometimes the best things in life come from the most unexpected shifts in our journeys.
Jonny Pelham
Jonny Pelham began comedy at University and while he was there he achieved runner-up in both the coveted So You Think You’re Funny competition and The Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Since graduating university Jonny has continued to impress and was a finalist and judges choice in the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards, as well as being nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer in 2014.
2016 saw Jonny make the exciting step over to the small screen on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central for Comedy Central followed by a support slot on Live At The BBC this year.
With two critically acclaimed solo shows under his belt, Before and After (2015) and Fool’s Paradise (2016), this August Jonny will take his hotly anticipated 3rd solo show, Just Shout Louder to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

City Comedy Club is thrilled to present Adam Hopkins, a seasoned comedian who has captivated audiences at top venues across the UK, including Hot Water, Backyard, Angel, Frog and Bucket, Top Secret, and Big Belly. Adam’s comedy journey began in Shanghai, China, and has taken him around the globe, performing in cities such as Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and even Wuhan.
With a growing list of accolades, Adam was nominated for the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award, participated in Circuit Breakers at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival, and won Reading New Comedian of the Year at the 2023 Reading Indie Comedy Festival. He was also a finalist in the 2022 UK Chinese Comedy Competition, impressively performing in Mandarin, and has written for BBC Radio 4 Extra and BBC Radio Scotland’s shows like Newsjack, DMs Are Open, and Breaking the News.
Originally from Leeds and now based in London, Adam’s witty, relatable humor and global comedic experience make him a true standout on stages worldwide.
