Jonny Pelham
Jonny Pelham began comedy at University and while he was there he achieved runner-up in both the coveted So You Think You’re Funny competition and The Chortle Student Comedy Awards. Since graduating university Jonny has continued to impress and was a finalist and judges choice in the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards, as well as being nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer in 2014.
2016 saw Jonny make the exciting step over to the small screen on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central for Comedy Central followed by a support slot on Live At The BBC this year.
With two critically acclaimed solo shows under his belt, Before and After (2015) and Fool’s Paradise (2016), this August Jonny will take his hotly anticipated 3rd solo show, Just Shout Louder to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Maple Zuo
Maple is a Chinese-Mongolian comedian who has been making audiences laugh across Asia since 2017. Featured on BBC Cultural Frontline, she has built a name for herself with sharp, engaging comedy that spans cultures and experiences.
Now based in the UK, Maple has taken the British comedy circuit by storm, winning King Gong at The Comedy Store and The Blackout at Up the Creek. She was also a finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre New Act of the Year 2023 and took 2nd place in LGBT New Comedian of the Year 2024.
With a unique perspective and a fearless approach to stand-up, Maple blends wit and storytelling to create a fresh and unpredictable comedy style.
Ahmed Ibrahim is the recent winner of the Comedy stores King Gong competition. He is a mesmerising act, who has audiences at the palm of his hand when telling his scintillating stories of his life in Egypt and growing up as a teenager in London. He is a very wise man.
