Spring Day is a New York stand-up comedian, writer and actor previously based in Tokyo, Japan. She has hosted at the legendary Carolines Comedy Club for Jordan Carlos, and was voted Brooklyn’s Best Comedian 2016.
A fluent Japanese speaker and a mild cerebral palsy haver, Spring has been headlining at the Tokyo Comedy Store since 2002 and has been performing all over the world since opening for Japanese comedian Zenjiro at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2004.
She has written, produced, directed and performed five solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2010. Spring has also performed at various clubs in London, Manchester, Dublin, Los Angeles, New York and Paris. She was featured in the 2008 documentary The Tokyo Comedy Store, the upcoming Joker Face book, and in the 2014 best selling book The Humor Code.
City Comedy Club is thrilled to present Adam Hopkins, a seasoned comedian who has captivated audiences at top venues across the UK, including Hot Water, Backyard, Angel, Frog and Bucket, Top Secret, and Big Belly. Adam’s comedy journey began in Shanghai, China, and has taken him around the globe, performing in cities such as Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and even Wuhan.
With a growing list of accolades, Adam was nominated for the 2021 BBC New Comedy Award, participated in Circuit Breakers at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival, and won Reading New Comedian of the Year at the 2023 Reading Indie Comedy Festival. He was also a finalist in the 2022 UK Chinese Comedy Competition, impressively performing in Mandarin, and has written for BBC Radio 4 Extra and BBC Radio Scotland’s shows like Newsjack, DMs Are Open, and Breaking the News.
Originally from Leeds and now based in London, Adam’s witty, relatable humor and global comedic experience make him a true standout on stages worldwide.
Ahmed Ibrahim is the recent winner of the Comedy stores King Gong competition. He is a mesmerising act, who has audiences at the palm of his hand when telling his scintillating stories of his life in Egypt and growing up as a teenager in London. He is a very wise man.
