City Comedy Club is excited to present Luke Nixon, a rising star in the UK comedy scene known for his barnstorming energy and quick wit. From almost winning a rigged talent contest at age 8 (judged by his mum) to becoming a finalist in multiple prestigious comedy competitions, Luke’s comedic journey has been nothing short of hilarious. He’s a Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Finalist (2022), West End New Act of the Year Finalist (2023), and a Musical Comedy Awards Finalist (2024).
As the resident MC of Catastrophe Cabaret, recently named one of the “Top Comedy Nights in London” by Design My Night, Luke has hosted comedy heavyweights like Sarah Keyworth, Nick Helm, and Fin Taylor. He’s also a resident MC at Camberwell Comedy Club, where he keeps the laughs rolling night after night.
Luke’s talents extend beyond the stand-up stage. With writing and acting credits that include Faith and Horrids at the Edinburgh Fringe, Jesus & Lucifer: The Greatest Love Story Never Told! at Canal Cafe, and WISEBOWM: THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! on BBC Radio 4, Luke continues to impress across multiple platforms.
Hubert Mayr is an Austrian born comedian based in London, UK.
Since making his stage debut in 2017 he has taken his act ('plenty of dark humour' - Chortle) all across the UK, including the London Comedy Store, and further afield, like Sydney, AUS.
His sharp writing and relaxed style has made him rise fast on the UK circuit and earned him several nominations and competition successes.
